Last summer, the New Orleans-based John W. Houghtaling found his name in a different news headline – oil spill clean up. Named the CEO of Ocean Therapy Solutions (OTS), John W. Houghtaling partnered with actor Kevin Costner and the others of OTS this past summer during the Gulf spill clean up.
OTS presented the oil giant BP a technological breakthrough that was, “seventeen years in the making,” states CEO John W. Houghtaling. It is John W. Houghtaling’s opinion that OTS was a “crucial step” in the final oil spill recovery. John W. Houghtaling explains that while the news media attention “was on the potential areas of spill impact, we were behind the scenes securing the chance to demonstrate that we had the technology that would work.”
